INTRODUCTION:
This is a conceptual product project exploring the driving experience of a two-wheeled vehicle on the moon. The premise is the completion of colonization and habitation on the moon. Investigating what consumer-grade, short-distance, fast-moving tools on the moon would look like is a highly worthwhile design direction.
Gravity is a motorized Bike that assembles with clutchless direct drives. It was designed for short-distance Space exploration.
To ensure the smooth operation of the wheels in rugged geographical environments, I designed a set of Polycarbonate (PC) protective casings for Gravity. The inspiration for this design is drawn from the visual representation of a black hole, where the immense gravitational force distorts space and light.
